Robbers Tied Victim Up On Custer, Police Say

Robbers Tie Victim Up on Custer

Four men kicked in the door of a home in the 400 block of Custer Avenue at 9:50 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, according to police. They displayed a handgun, hit a resident in the face, tied the resident up and stole a Dell laptop computer, Dynex 37-inch TV and cash, police said.

Men Fire Shots From Car On Greenwood

One or more people fired shots at their victims from a Jeep in the 2300 block of Greenwood Street at 7:10 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, police reported.

Man Charged With Possession of Cannabis

Sean Michael Allen, 36, of the 1400 block of Dodge Avenue in Evanston, was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis at 4:35 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, at the intersection of Dempster Street and McDaniel Avenue, according to police. 

Burglar Steals Model Trains, Adding Machine

Someone entered an unlocked apartment in the 1500 block of Chicago Avenue between 3 and 3:15 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, and stole model trains, a carved brown bear and two adding machines, according to police.

Thief Steals Wallet On Greenwood

Someone stole a black leather wallet with its contents from a grocery store in the 1600 block of Chicago Avenue between 12:30 and 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, police reported.

Bicycle Stolen On Chicago

Someone stole a bright yellow “Specialized Hardtail” mountain bike that was locked to a storage rack in the 1600 block of Chicago Avenue at 7:03 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, police reported.
