Gunshots Reported in the 1700 Block of Cleveland Street

The following arrest information was supplied by the Evanston Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Shots fired

Police responded to a shots fired complaint in the 1700 block of Cleveland Street on March 20 around 11:45 p.m. Officers canvassed the scene, but found nothing, the report stated.

Theft

A laptop computer and carrying case were reported stolen from a commercial business in the 2500 block of Oakton Street on March 18.

A digital camera, lens and carrying bag were reported stolen from a commercial business in the 1100 block of Florence Avenue on March 16.

Locker theft

A wallet was reported stolen from a locked locker at a gym in the 1000 block of Grove Street on March 20.

Tool theft

Several tools valued at more than $500 were reported stolen from a grocery store in the 1900 block of Dempster Street on March 20.

Stolen auto

A car parked in the 200 block of Callan was reported stolen on March 14.

DUI

Sem Adrien, 26, of Evanston, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol on march 20. Adrien was arrested in the 800 block of Dodge Avenue around 4:40 a.m., police said.

Michael Lawrence Pristavec, 56, of Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol on March 16. Pristavec was arrested in the 2400 block of Howard Street around 9:39 p.m., police said.

Raphel Demario Speed, 34, of Evanston, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol on March 16. Speed was arrested at the intersection of Howard Street and Dodge Avenue around 10:10 p.m., police said.
