Two car bench seats, soccer balls, uniforms, orange cones and jumper cables were reported stolen from a van parked in Park Ridge.

A man displayed a plastic gun, then stole a car key and two house keys in Evanston.

An employee at a Skokie salon told police he would like to press charges against his ex-wife after she came into his business and knocked over a porcelain art piece and 11 hair clips, police said.

My guess is he's not worth it

A 29-year-old Niles woman reported that a woman in her 30s sent her text messages calling her names. The victim is in a relationship with the offender's husband, who is separated from the offender.

A Winnetka woman told police several pieces of jewelry that she mailed out of state were replaced with different ones when she received the jewelry back. The amount of loss was estimated at $5,500.

Des Plaines police pulled over a 22-year-old driver who they said they saw drive westbound in the eastbound lane in front of the squad car and almost strike another vehicle. According to police, the driver told them, “Man, I’m not even that drunk.” He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and reckless driving.
