Stolen Car Set on Fire in South Evanston

No one was injured when the Nissan was engulfed in flames.

A car that officials say was stolen from Chicago in May was set on fire in the 500 block of Michigan Avenue early Saturday morningEvanston Now reported. 

No one was inside the 2012 Nissan and there were no injuries reported, the website quoted Evanston Fire Department officials as saying.

The fire was reported at 3:20 a.m, according to The Daily Northwestern, which said police believe it was deliberatively set by a man who then fled the scene in a white vehicle.
