Strongarm Robberies Reported On Callan, Church

The following arrests and incidents were reported by the Evanston Police Department:

Robbers Hit Victim, Steal Phone
Two men hit their victim in the mouth, then took Apple cell phone at 4:16 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, in the 500 block of Callan Avenue, police reported. 

Robber Demands Cash on Church
A robber demanded someone's cash in the 1700 block of Church Street at 9:15 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, according to police. 

Arrests: Theft, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Milton D. Anderson, 24, of the 1700 block of West Juneway Terrace in Chicago, was arrested and charged with theft at 4:43 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, in the 1700 block of West Juneway Terrace, police reported.

Earl J. Washington Jr. 21, of the 6600 block of Golf Road in Morton Grove, was arrested and charged with being under the influence of alcohol on Thursday, Nov. 21, police reported. 

Terry Williams, 50, of the 1400 block of Chicago Avenue in Evanston, was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia in the 1800 block of Dempster Street at 4:50 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, police reported. 

Cell Phone Stolen at ETHS
Someone stole a white Samsung cell phone in a blue case valued at $40 that was left unattended at the high school in the 1600 block of Dodge Avenue at 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, according to police. 

Thief Steals Furniture on Emerson
Someone stole essential living furniture from an unlocked apartment or condo common area in the 1800 block of Emerson Street between 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, and 7 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, according to police. 

Man Scratches Victim at Mental Health Institution
A man scratched someone on the hand at a mental health institution in the 900 block of Maple Avenue at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, according to police.

Planter Pushed Over on Kedzie
Someone pushed over a planter in the 100 block of Kedzie Street between 11 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, and 6:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, according to police. 

Graffiti Appears at Clark and Orrington
Graffiti appeared at Clark Street and Orrington Avenue between 11:13 and 11:25 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, according to police.
