Strong-arm robbery

Three men grabbed a victim around the neck from behind in an alley in the 2100 block of Ridge Ave. between 7 and 8 p.m. on Sept. 22 and stole an iPhone.

Burglary

Cash was taken from the cash register of a restaurant after someone entered through an unlocked door in the 1600 block of Chicago Ave. between 1:45 and 2:30 a.m. Sept. 22.

Someone stole a bicycle from an unlocked garage in the 2300 block of Ridgeway Ave. between Sept. 19 and Sept. 20.

Criminal damage to property

A man broke a planter at a bar in the 1400 block of Sherman Ave. at 12:30 a.m. Sept. 22.

Criminal damage to vehicle

Both sides of a 2008 Nissan were keyed while it was parked in a lot in the 2400 block of Main St. Sept. 21 between 2:45 and 3:10 p.m.

All the windows on a 2001 Ford were broken while on the street in the 2500 block of Oakton St. between 5 p.m. Sept. 21 and noon Sept. 22.

The windshield of a 2000 Chrystler was damaged while on the street in the 1700 block of Dobson St. between 1 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sept. 22.

A bed cover was damaged on a 2005 Chevrolet on the street in the 1900 block of Foster St. between 11 p.m. Sept. 20 and noon Sept. 21.

A window was broken on a 1997 Chevrolet on the street in the 1900 block of Foster St. between 1:30 and 1:44 a.m. Sept 23.

Burglary from a motor vehicle

Someone broke the passenger window on a car in the 500 block of Sherman Ave. and stole an iPhone and charger between 7:30 p.m. Sept. 21 and 10:30 a.m. Sept. 22.

Someone broke into a vehicle on the 1900 block of Dewey between 10:30 p.m. Sept. 20 and 8:21 a.m. Sept. 21 and stoll a number of tools, including hammers, screw drivers and a miter saw.

Someone entered a vehicle through an unlocked door in the 1900 block of Dodge Ave. between 11:30 p.m. Sept. 20 and 10:30 a.m. Sept. 21 and stole several items, including paint brushes, and socket wrenches.

Theft

Someone stole an unlocked bicycle from the common area of an apartment building in the 900 block of Washington St. between Sept. 10 and 21.

Someone stole a locked mountain bike form the 1000 block of Davis St. between 6 and 8 a.m. on Sept. 19.

Someone stole an unattended bike from a park in the 1700 block of Church St. at 7 p.m.  Sept. 19.

A theft occurred at a medical office in the 1000 block of Central St. overnight between Sept. 20 and 21. Nothing was reported as taken.

An unlocked women’s bike was stolen from the 1000 block of Foster St. between 4 and 5 p.m. Sept 22.

A bike was stolen from a rack in the 1000 block of Central St. between 6 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Sept 20.

A backpack was stolen from the library in the 1700 block of Orrington Ave. at 3:45 p.m. Sept. 20.

Money was stolen from an unlocked locker at a medical facility in the 300 block of Ridge Ave. between Sept. 17 and 21.

A purse was taken from the counter of a business in the 700 block of Howard St. at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 20.

Criminal damage to state property

Someone wrote graffiti at a park in the 600 block of Brummel St. at 11:45 p.m. on Sept. 21.
