Suspected Drug Dealer Arrested With Marijuana, $4K in Cash

An Evanston man was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of cannabis and unlawful possession with intent to deliver, according to police.

Evanston police arrested a 29-year-old suspected drug dealer following a traffic stop on Monday, Nov. 25, according to a press release.

Police stopped Sergio R. Papillon, 29, of the 1700 block of Greenleaf Street, for a traffic violation at Greenleaf and Asbury around 9:20 p.m. They found 85 grams of cannabis and $4,100 in cash in his vehicle, police said. 

Papillon was charged with unlawful possession of cannabis and unlawful possession with intent to deliver, both felonies, according to police.
