Thief Steals Gold Chain From Retirement Home

Burglar Steals Gold Necklaces

A resident of the 600 block of Oakton Street reported to police that a known male offender stole gold necklaces between 11:15 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, police reported.

Man Charged With Trespass at Gas Station

John D. Carey, 48, of the 700 block of Dobson Street, was arrested and charged with criminal trespass at the shell station at 101 Ridge Ave. at 10:40 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, according to police.

Thief Steals Gold Chain From Retirement Home

Someone stole a gold chain with three gold charms from a retirement home in the 1600 block of Chicago Avenue between 4 and 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, according to police. The charms were of St. Anthony, a horn and a heart with a diamond.

Package With Chrome Goggles Stolen On Maple

Someone stole a package that was delivered to an apartment or condo common area in the 1700 block of Maple Avenue between Oct. 17 and 29, according to police. It contained two tinted sunglasses valued at $10 each and one pair of chrome goggles worth $25.

Graffiti Appears On Chicago

Graffiti appeared on a mailbox in the 1100 block of Chicago Avenue at 3:34 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, according to police.
