Arrests: Aggravated Battery, DUI, Retail Theft
Hajra Akhtar, 29, of the 800 block of West Belle Plaine in Chicago, was arrested and charged with aggravated battery at 4:09 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, in the 2400 block of Howard Street, police reported.
Teresa Kurek Gold, 59, of the 600 block of Greenview in Wheeling, was arrested and charged with retail theft at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, in the 2200 block of Central Street, according to police.

Antonio L. Willis II, 21, of the 100 block of Edgecliff in Highland Park, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence at 8:29 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, at the intersection of Simpson Street and Ashland Avenue, police reported.

Someone stole a silver, 2003 Toyota 4-Runner with the Pennsylvania license plate HHZ4984 that was parked in an apartment lot in the 800 block of Noyes Street at 6:56 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, according to police.

Someone stole an Apple cell phone in a black case from a pew at church in the 1500 block of Simpson Street between 9 and 9:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, according to police.
