Thieves Steal Bikes on Main, Central

The following arrests and incidents were reported by the : 

Shots Fired on Seward Street

Police investigated a report that someone had fired a gun in the 800 block of Seward Street at 8:55 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11. Nothing was found in the area.

Bicycles Stolen on Main and Central

Someone stole a navy blue Schwinn mountain bike that was secured to a rack in the 600 block of Main Street around 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, police reported.  

Someone stole a red Giant mountain bike that was secured to a rack in the 1800 block of Central Street between 6 and 6:15 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, according to police.

Garmin GPS, Batteries Stolen From Car

Someone stole a Garmin GPS and batteries from an unlocked 1999 Dodge parked in the 700 block of Asbury Avenue between 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10, and 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, according to police.

Cell Phone Stolen From School Locker

Someone stole a Samsung cell phone from a locker at a school in the 1600 block of Dodge Avenue around 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, police reported.

Criminal Damage to Property

Graffiti appeared at the intersection of Sherman Avenue and Seward Street at 10:18 a.m. Monday, Sept. 10, police reported. 

Someone cracked the windshield of a 2001 Ford parked in a lot in the 1100 block of Davis Street at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 10, according to police. 

Graffiti appeared on school grounds between 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7 and 7 a.m. Monday, Sept. 10, in the 2700 block of Hurd Avenue, police reported.
