Three 911 Callers Report Seeing Men With Guns

The following arrests and incidents were reported by the Evanston Police Department: 

Offenders With Guns Reported on Church and Brown

Police checked the intersection of McDaniel Avenue and Church Street after a caller reported seeing two men with guns at 8:15 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 27.

Police checked the 1800 block of Brown Avenue after a caller reported seeing a man with a gun in the area at 7:15 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27.

Police checked the 2400 block of Church Street after a caller reported seeing a man with a gun at 8:25 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27.

Nissan Stolen on Dobson

Someone stole a 1993 four-door grey Nissan Maxima from the 1300 block of Dobson Street between 9 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, and 7 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, according to police. The license plate is P337193. 

Man Arrested for Possession of Meth

JM Salver, 51, of the 1200 block of West Leland Avenue in Chicago, was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine in the 1800 block of Dodge Avenue at 3:35 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, police reported. 

Graffiti Found On Sherman

Police found graffiti in the 1400 block of Sherman Avenue at 4:01 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27.
