Three Burglaries Reported Overnight in Evanston

The following information was reported by the Evanston Police Department on Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013. Where arrests are included, it does not indicate a conviction.

The following arrests and incidents were reported by the Evanston Police Department:

Burglaries Reported On Florence, Ewing, Clark

Two men entered an unlocked home in the 1600 block of Florence Avenue at 5:14 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, according to police. Nothing was reported missing.

Someone entered an unlocked home in the 2100 block of Ewing Avenue and stole a purse with its contents around 1:05 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, according to police.

Someone entered an unlocked apartment in the 700 block of Clark Street and stole an Apple laptop computer with red plastic cover between 12 and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, according to police.

Arrests: Domestic Battery, Disorderly Conduct

A 21-year-old Evanston woman was arrested and charged with domestic battery at 3:32 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, police reported.

Scott A. Delvalle, 20, of the 5300 block of Wright in Skokie, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct at 11:59 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5, in the 1400 block of Dobson Street, according to police.

A 42-year-old Evanston man was arrested and charged with domestic battery at 12:20 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, police reported. 

A 20-year-old Evanston man was arrested and charged with domestic battery at 2:01 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, according to police. 

Bikes Stolen On Washington, Forestview, Foster

Someone stole a 21-inch purple Trek bicycle with a green front basket and black rear basket that was left unlocked in a yard in the 1500 block of Washington Street at 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, police reported. 

Someone stole a black Cervelo bicycle with white lettering from an unlocked garage in the 2100 block of Forestview Avenue at 3:20 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, according to police. 

A known male offender stole someone’s black Ross mountain bike with red foam on the handlebars and tan walls on the tires at 10 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, in the 1600 block of Foster Street, according to police.

Known Offender Spray-paints Car

A known male offender spray-painted a 1994 Toyota parked in an alley in the 1700 block of Dodge Avenue at 4:24 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, according to police. 

Car Scratched On Sheridan

Someone scratched a 2002 Kia parked in the 600 block of Sheridan Road between 8 a.m. Wednesday, July 31, and 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, according to police.
