TVs, Computers, Jewelry Stolen in Burglaries

The following arrests and incidents were reported by the Evanston Police Department:  

Arrests: Assault, Retail Theft

Reann Star Salter, 21, was arrested and charged with assault at 9:39 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, in the 1700 block of Brown Avenue, police reported.

Mariirose Youseph, 53, of the 9300 block of Mansfield in Morton Grove, was arrested and charged with retail theft, after she allegedly stole clothing from the Sam’s Club at 2450 Main St. at 5:56 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15, according to police. 

Electronics Stolen in Burglaries on Foster, Grey

Someone stole a 27-inch flat screen Apple desktop computer and 42-inch Vizio LCD television from an apartment in the 2300 block of Foster Street between 7:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15, according to police. Police do not know how the burglar entered. 

Someone stole a Sony television, Mac laptop computer and jewelry by entering the open window of a home in the 1700 block of Grey Avenue between 12 and 12:15 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15, according to police. 

Purse Stolen From Bar on Grove

Someone stole a gray leather purse with a chain strap and its contents, including an iPhone and cash, that was left unattended at a bar in the 800 block of Grove Street between 12:30 and 1:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, police reported. 

Bike Stolen on Michigan

Someone stole a Giant bicycle with a yellow Allied moving tag on its frame from an unlocked garage in the 600 block of Michigan Avenue between 8:46 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, and 10 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, police reported.

iPad Stolen on Main Street

A woman hid an Apple iPad under her sweatshirt and stole it from a department store in the 2400 block of Main Street at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, according to police. 

Solar Landscape Lights Stolen on Grey

Someone stole solar landscape lights from the front yard of a home in the 700 block of Grey Avenue between 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, and 7:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 15, police reported.

Rock Thrown Through Window on Pitner

Someone used a rock to break the window of a home in the 1400 block of Pitner Avenue at 9 p.m. Monday, Oct.1 5, police reported.
