Two 18-year-olds from Evanston were arrested by last week after police searched an Evanston home where they were allegedly dealing drugs.

Wilmette Police Chief Brian King said his department was looking into reports of dealers selling drugs to youth in Wilmette and other New Trier Township communities, when they received a tip that cocaine, ecstasy, marijuana and the prescription anti-anxiety drug alprazolam were being used and sold at 2508 Thayer St. in Evanston.

Investigators put the home under surveillance and allegedly observed drug transactions taking place, leading them to ask the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office for a search warrant, King said.
