Gunfire Reported on Fowler

Evanston Police investigated a report that someone fired a gun in the 1300 block of Fowler at 9:01 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5. Nothing was found in the area. 

Arrests: Assault, Battery, Peddling

Shashunna V. Cross, 35, of the 1900 block of Jackson Avenue, was arrested and charged with assault on her block at 4:02 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5, according to police.

Nuxin Hager, 42, of the 500 block of West Arlington in Chicago, was arrested and charged with battery at 2:54 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, in the 1900 block of Howard Street, according to police.

Travis Osbourne James, 26, of the 9100 block of Hundley in Chattanooga, TN, was arrested and charged with peddling at 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5, at Crawford and Haze, police reported. 

Darryl J. Sanders, 53, who did not give police an address, was arrested and charged with criminal damage to property at 5:12 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, police reported. 

Sharronda P. Wright, 18, of the 1700 block of Darrow in Evanston, was arrested and charged with disorderly conducted at 4 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5, in the 1700 block of Lyons Street, according to police. 

Known Offender Steals 10K Gold Rings

A woman stole two 10-karat gold Irish rings from the 800 block of Oakton Street between 2 and 7 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, police reported. 

Burglar Steals Keys On Central

Someone stole keys from an apartment in the 2200 block of Central Street around 7:10 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5, according to police.

Man Steals Makeup From Drugstore

A man stole Olay makeup products from a chain pharmacy in the 3300 block of Central Street at 7:08 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2, police reported. 

Vehicle Windows Broken, Jeep Spray-Painted

A man broke the window of a 2011 Dodge at a gas station in the 100 block of Ridge Avenue at 12:03 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, according to police. 

Someone spray-painted a 2004 Jeep parked in the 400 block of Custer Avenue between 12 and 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, police reported. 

A man broke the window of a 2000 Orion bus parked in the 1300 block of Howard Street at 5:12 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, police reported.

Graffiti Found on Simpson, Mulford, Callan

Graffiti appeared in a park in the 1900 block of Simpson Street at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 5, according to police. 

Graffiti appeared on the sidewalk in the 600 block of Mulford Street at 12 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5, police reported.

Graffiti appeared in an apartment or condo common area in the 200 block of Callan Avenue at 12 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5, police reported.
