Vandals Run Across Car Roofs at Dealership

The following information reported by the Evanston Police Department on Monday, July 15, 2013. Where arrests are included, it does not indicate a conviction.

The following arrests and incidents were reported by the Evanston Police Department:

Arrests: DUI, Battery, Etc.

Carrie Sade Fagbemi, 40, of the 2000 block of Emerson Street in Evanston, was arrested and charged with battery at the police station at 4:45 p.m. Saturday, July 13, according to police.

Samuel F. Miller, 75, of the 1400 block of South Canal Street in Chicago, was arrested and charged with violating an order of protection at 6:01 p.m. Friday, July 12, in the 2200 block of Lake Street, police reported.

Dan J. Oncrick, 47, of the 2500 block of West Pratt in Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence at 6:27 p.m. Thursday, July 11, in the 1800 block of Ridge, according to police.

Ian C. Proctor, 24, of the 2800 block of Park Place in Evanston, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence at 3:05 p.m. Friday, July 12, outside his home, police reported.

A 29-year-old Evanston man was arrested and charged with domestic battery at 1:05 a.m. Friday, July 12, police reported.

Vandals Run Across Car Roofs at Dealership

Two men ran across the tops of 36 Mazdas parked at a dealership in the 1600 block of Emerson Street at 3:31 p.m. Saturday, July 13, damaging the roofs, police said.

Car Burglar Steals Cash On Washington

Someone stole cash from an unlocked 1995 Jeep parked in the 900 block of Washington Street between July 6 and 7, police reported. 

Theft: Tires, Cell Phones, Purse

A known female offender stole a cell phone from an apartment in the 1600 block of Monroe Street at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, July 13, according to police. 

Someone stole four tires with rims from a 2013 Chrysler parked in a business lot in the 200 block of Hartrey Avenue between 9 p.m. Friday, July 12, and 3:30 p.m. Saturday, July 13, according to police. 

A man stole an Apple phone in a turquoise case from someone riding the CTA in the 600 block of South Boulevard around 11:10 a.m. Friday, July 12, police reported. 

Someone stole a purse that was left unattended in a park in the 1800 block of Sheridan Road between 7:30 and 9 p.m. Sunday, July 14, according to police.

Tires Slashed; Rear Window Broken

Someone slashed the tires of three cars belonging to one person, parked in an apartment lot in the 1900 block of Howard Street between 10 p.m. Saturday, July 13, and 9:40 a.m. Sunday, July 14, police reported.

Someone broke the rear window of a 2011 Honda parked in the 2300 block of Orrington Avenue between 11:29 a.m. and 12:29 p.m. Friday, July 12, police reported.

Graffiti Found On Grove, Davis, Oak, Payne

Graffiti appeared on a building in the 1000 block of Grove Street between 2:30 and 3 a.m. Sunday, July 14, police reported.

Graffiti appeared on a business in the 1000 block of Davis Street between 5 a.m. Saturday, July 13, and 7 a.m. Sunday, July 14, according to police.

Graffiti appeared on an apartment or condo building in the 1500 block of Oak Avenue between 11 p.m. Saturday, July 13, and 7 a.m. Sunday, July 14, police reported.

Graffiti appeared on another apartment or condo building in the 1500 block of Oak Avenue between 10 p.m. Saturday, July 13, and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, July 14, according to police. 

Graffiti appeared on the sidewalk in the 2200 block of Payne Street between July 9 and 10, police reported.
