Woman Charged With Aggravated Battery
Nancy Pinkey Nyanti, 17, of the 300 block of Elmwood in Evanston was arrested and charged with aggravated battery outside Evanston Township High School at 10:35 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, according to police.

Burglar Slashes Screen On Mulford
A burglar slashed the window screen of an apartment in the 600 block of Mulford Street between 2:45 and 4:20 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, according to police. Nothing was reported missing.

Car Burglaries On Isabella, Brummel
Someone entered an unlocked 2007 Toyota parked in the 2900 block of Isabella Street between 4 and 4:16 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, and stole a purse with its contents, according to police.
A man entered an unlocked 2007 Subaru parked in the 700 block of Brummel Street between 12:20 and 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, but stole nothing, police reported.
Wallet Stolen From Locker
Someone stole a leather wallet with its contents from a locked gym locker in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue between 7:30 and 10 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, police reported.
Men Steal Alcohol From Unlocked Store
Three men stole alcohol by entering the unlocked front door of a grocery store in the 1100 block of Chicago Avenue at 12:47 a.m. Friday, Sept. 20, according to police.
