Woman Threatens to Pepper-Spray Store Owner

A woman stole two Onyx packages of hair from a store in the 1100 block of Howard Street at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, according to police. An employee told police that she threatened to spray him with pepper spray when he confronted her. 

Arrests: Criminal Trespass, Aggravated Battery

Tera Latrice Allen, 37, of the 1100 block of Pitner, was arrested and charged with criminal trespassing at 7:02 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, in the 1900 block of Colfax Street, according to police.

Ira J. Anderson, 62, of the 1500 block of Darrow in Evanston, was arrested and charged with retail theft after he stole food from a store in the 1100 block of Chicago Avenue at 3:30 p.m. Monday, April 15, according to police.

Darnisha A. Tucker, 21, of the 2300 block of Foster Street in Evanston, was arrested and charged with aggravated battery at 5:31 p.m. Monday, April 15, in the 1700 block of Church Street, according to police. 

Thieves Steal Sporting Knife, Alcohol

Someone stole a pair of seasonal gardening gloves and a sporting utility knife from a store in the 2200 block of Howard Street at 7:48 p.m. Friday, April 12, police reported. 

A man stole a bottle of Absolut vodka from a grocery store in the 2700 block of Green Bay Road at 9 p.m. Friday, April 12, according to police. 

Wallet Swiped From Locker Room

Someone stole a wallet and its contents from a locker room in the 1000 block of Grove Street at 4 p.m. Saturday, April 13, according to police. 

Bike Stolen On Monroe

Someone stole a 20” children’s Aggressor bicycle from an unlocked apartment storage locker in the 1800 block of Monroe Street between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday, April 14, according to police. 

License Plates Stolen On Dempster, Sherman

Someone stole a license plate from a car parked in the 1000 block of Dempster Street between 8:30 p.m. Thursday, April 11, and 10 a.m. Saturday, April 13, according to police. 

Someone stole an Indiana dealer license plate from a car parked in the 300 block of Sherman Avenue between 8:00 and 8:15 a.m. Friday, April 12, police said.

Graffiti Found On Mailbox

Police found graffiti on a mailbox in the 500 block of Dempster Street at 3:30 p.m. Monday, April 15.
