The following arrests and incidents were reported by the Evanston Police Department:

Woman Strikes Victim in Face on Howard
A woman struck her victim in the face at a business place in the 300 block of Howard Street between 5:20 and 5:27 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, according to police.

Car Burglars Steal Lawnmower, Chain Saw, Cash
Two men stole cash from a 1998 Nissan parked in an alley in the 200 block of South Boulevard between 10:59 and 11:03 a.m. Wednesday, May 22, police reported.

Someone used a tool to enter a vehicle parked in an alley in the 1800 block of Darrow Avenue between 2 and 4 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, according to police. A red Toro McLane edger, red Max edger, red Max blowers, red Max trimmer, Steele chainsaw, Steele concrete saw, and Echo blower lawnmower were reported missing.

Thief Swipes Drill, Drill Bits

Someone stole an 18-volt Black and Decker cordless drill, battery pack, storage bag and two Black & Decker drill bit sets that were left unattended at Lake Street and Sherman Avenue between 10 and 10:05 a.m. Monday, May 27, according to police.
