Next Citizen Budget Input Session Set for Sept. 22

The City of Evanston will be holding an "Engage Evanston" citizen budget input session on Thursday, September 22nd at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers at the Morton Civic Center located at 2100 Ridge Ave. The session will include a session description, budget update, review of service change ideas and citizen feedback and input.

Engage Evanston is a community outreach initiative intended to give residents an opportunity to help shape budget priorities.

The first phase of Engage Evanston ran from May 1 -May 7, 2011 and residents were asked to submit their ideas for generating non-tax revenue and containing costs. Those ideas can be accessed here.
