Evanston 911 Supervisor Saved Man Having Heart Attack

Evanston 911 Supervisor Brian Drake will be recognized for saving a man's life at the Northbrook Village Board meeting on May 14.

When Evanston 911 supervisor Brian Drake saw a man lying unconscious in Northbrook this April, he sprang to action, notifying Northbrook Fire Department and performing CPR on the man, Chicago Tribune reported.

On May 14, the Village of Northbrook will recognize Drake and fellow do-gooder Sue Weszt, a cardiac nurse who also helped with the rescue, for their efforts in saving the man, who had collapsed from an apparent heart attack while riding his bicycle, Chicago Tribune reported.
