Evanston Planning and Zoning Manager Announces Retirement

Planning and zoning manager Dennis Marino will retire this year after more than two decades with the city of Evanston.

Planning and zoning manager Dennis Marino announced he would retire this June after nearly 23 years with the city of Evanston.

Marino's retirement goes into effect June 28, according to city manager Wally Bobkiewicz.

"Dennis has served the City of Evanston for nearly twenty-three years in a variety of capacities that have helped Evanston grow and prosper," Bobkiewicz wrote in an e-mail to city staff.  "He leaves the City a better place than when he started."
