How Did Evanston Legislators Vote on Concealed Carry?

The Illinois General Assembly voted to override Gov. Pat Quinn's amendatory veto, thus allowing people to carry concealed weapons. See how your elected officials voted.

The Illinois General Assembly chose Tuesday to allow people to carry concealed weapons when it voted to override Gov. Pat Quinn’s amendatory veto of the bill, which he had hoped would be a compromise.

Not surprisingly, none of Evanston’s representatives in Springfield sided with the majority.

State Sen. Daniel Biss and Rep. Robyn Gabel voted against the override. Rep. Laura Fine was listed as absent.
