Proposed Hyatt Extended-Stay Hotel Takes Step Toward Approval

The proposal now moves to the city's Plan Commission.

A proposal to build a Hyatt extended-stay hotel downtown took a step toward approval Wednesday when the Site Plan and Appearance Review Committee voted to send the project along to the city's Plan Commission, according to Evanston Now.

The eight-story, 116-room hotel would be located at 1515 Chicago Ave. It could open as early as next year.
