Registration Open for Annual Evanston Day in Springfield
Evanston residents can participate in the 4th annual Evanston Day in Springfield on March 13.
Want to reach out to state elected officials and discuss issues relevant to Evanston residents and organizations? Registration is now open for the 4th Annual Evanston Day in Springfield.
The event will be held on March 13 and offers Evanston residents a chance to speak directly with key policy makers and leaders of the State of Illinois, according to a press release.
Last year 55 people participated in the event, which was headed by Evanston Mayor Elizabeth Tisdahl, Evanston City Council members and Northwestern President Morton Schapiro.

- Noon Lunch at Governor’s mansion
- 12:30 p.m. Keynote address
- 1:45 p.m. Depart for Capitol
- 2 p.m. Meetings
- 5 p.m. Return to Evanston
- 9 p.m. Arrive in Evanston
