Reminder: Doing Business with the City of Evanston Seminar April 14

The city welcomes all business owners to the seminar.

The City of Evanston invites Evanston businesses to attend a seminar on how to do business with the city on Thursday, April 14, 2011 from 6-9 p.m. at the Lorraine H. Morton Civic Center, Fourth Floor, 2100 Ridge Ave.  The seminar will provide:

  • An overview of the bidding and small purchasing requirements of the City for all perspective Minority, Women and Evanston Business Enterprises (MWEBE’s);
  • More tailored break-out sessions on the competitive bid process ($20K+), potential projects, etc. and the small purchasing requirements (under $20K); and
  • Will serve to encourage more businesses to participate in city bids and small purchases.

This seminar is not limited to large companies, sub-contractors or professional consultants, but also smaller scale businesses such as caterers, auto parts suppliers, etc.) along with minority owned, women owned and Evanston based businesses are encouraged to attend.
