Temporary Lane Closure on Church Street Until May 14
The eastbound lane of Church Street in Evanston will remain open.
Workers will be installing several sewer and water connections on Sheridan Road at Church Street and a temporary traffic plan will be in place until May 14, according to the City of Evanston’s website.
On Church Street, the eastbound lane will remain open, while the right lane will be closed east of the alley near the intersection with Sheridan Road. The alley will also remain open.

On Sheridan Road, northbound and southbound traffic will stay open.
Construction will start daily at 8:30 a.m. and end at 3:30 p.m.

Parking in the area will be restricted as needed and flaggers will assist pedestrians and traffic at all times during work hours.
