Three Purple Line Viaducts to be Replaced
The Chicago Transit Authority recently approved a $10.3 million contract to replace the local viaducts.
CTA Purple Line viaducts at Grove, Dempster and Greenleaf streets will soon be replaced, with work on the project beginning in August.
TribLocal reported that the CTA approved a $10.3 million contract to replace the viaducts, and a retaining wall along Chicago Avenue will also be repaired.
