Peek Inside Lake Bluff Estate Listed for Nearly $6 Million

Here's an inside look at the rooms and garden of a 1923 Versailles-inspired home.

A Lake Bluff home designed by David Adler and inspired by a building at Versailles is on the market.

Owners Tom and Jane O’Neill gave a tour of the 7,200-square foot home to Chicago Magazine, which produced the attached YouTube video.

The home, which sits on six acres, was built in 1923, Chicago Magazine reported. It features original aspects that the O’Neills restored, such as Chinese wallpaper, as well as touches that the couple added to make it complete, such as light fixtures and a garden room.
