Church Bans NU Students Over Sex Toy Demonstration

A group of NU students have been banned from a Tennessee church.

A group of students who were planning on staying at a Hixson, Tenn. church during a spring break volunteer trip have been banned from the property because of the live sex toy demonstration at the school that caused controversy in early March.

The students involved in the trip did not attend the course, according to CBS, but the pastor did not want his reputation tarnished by affiliating with Northwestern.

The sex toy demonstration occurred in a human sexuality course in late February. Students were told what to expect and the demonstration was held in an optional after-class session.
