ETHS Coaches Recognized for Achievements

Three ETHS coaches have been highlighted for achievements in coaching.

Elliot Whitefield received 2nd consecutive Divisional Co-Coach of the Year Award from the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association for leading the KITS to their 2nd Sectional Championship game and amassing a school record 49 wins in just two years.

We are very proud to announce the recognition of three outstanding ETHS coaches this past winter:

Girls/Boys Swimming& Diving Head Coach, Kevin Auger, was honored with THREE Awards this past winter: 1 & 2) NFHS State & Sectional Coach Awards for his career accomplishments of two state championships and one national championship as well as the scores of All State and All American swimmers he has developed; 3) Illinois Swim Association Sectional Coach of the Year for Boys Swimming for his Sectional Championship.

Elliot Whitefield, Head Girls Basketball Coach, received his 2nd consecutive Divisional Co-Coach of the Year Award from the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association for leading the KITS to their 2nd Sectional Championship game and amassing a school record 49 wins in just two years.

George Woolridge was honored by the Illinois Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association as the Assistant Coach of the Year for Boys Track & Field in recognition of the incredible job he has done as the ETHS Throwing Coach since 1985.
