The Children’s Rights Council of Illinois is a non-profit organization led by volunteer parents who share a concern for the development and well-being of children from non-traditional families like their own. We provide insight to stakeholders and leaders on the impact public policies and established practices have on children of separated parents in Illinois. We also educate the general public on the importance of adopting family-friendly approaches to the unique issues facing these at-risk children. Through our advocacy network we promote the adoption of recognized ‘parenting best practices’ for separated parents and other family-friendly outcomes of the separation process.  For more information, please visit our website at http://www.crckidsillinois.org/.

The mission of The Parental Alienation Awareness Organization, PAAO, is to educate the general public, schools, police, mental health counselors, religious leaders, as well as the perpetrators who may be unaware of the effect of alienating behaviors, and how these behaviors harm children. Our goal is education. We believe that with education comes understanding, and the will and power to stop the emotional and mental abuse of children.
