Author Janet Spiech Presents "A Little Book to Ease Meal-Time Madness

Janet Spiech, Author, Editor and Publisher of  A Little Book to Ease Meal-Time Madness will be at The Mighty Twig on Saturday, May 21st to talk about her book, guidebooks, and programs that address the many challenges families are facing today due to hectic schedules and busy lifestyles.  Parents and adults with children attending the presentation will be able to take the time to hear and learn more about Spiech's family-centered advice which tries to bring organization and simplification concepts to daily routines.  Children attending with parents on May 21st will be able to enjoy crafts and other programs available at The Mighty Twig.  Mrs. Spiech's book, guidebooks, and products will be available for purchase and she will be donating a percentage of her profits to EPL Friends in support of The Mighty Twig's programs.

Janet Spiech is a graduate of UCLA, she and her husband reside in the western suburbs of Chicago with their four children.  Following graduation from UCLA, Mrs. Spiech enjoyed a successful corporate communications career, spent time enjoying days as a stay-at-home mom, and was an independent writer of corporate projects, stories and more before writing and publishing her book and programs.  Her book is the result of her trying to answer a friend's question about meal planning and having 'quality dinner time' as family.  Spiech researched the subject by contacting family and friends across the nation which culminated in her A Little Book company and programs.

The Mighty Twig is provided by the Evanston Public Library Friends, an independent, community-based organization dedicated to strengthening Evanston Public Library's innovation, leadership and neighborhood outreach.  EPLF is a registered 501C3.  The cost per day to run The Mighty Twig is $154, and all donations are accepted at www.eplfriends.org.
