H.I.P. Childbirth Education

You'll leave the class with a well-practiced toolkit of strategies for labor and birth, handy reference materials, and membership in a small community of other new parents. This class is designed for pregnant women in their third trimester to attend with a partner, and is appropriate regardless of whether you're planning a hospital or home birth.

Sarah Lieberman Weisz is a second generation childbirth educator who is completing her training with CAPPA (Childbirth and Postpartum Professionals Association). She is a former middle school teacher with an MA in social studies education from Teachers College at Columbia University and special expertise in curriculum development and workshop facilitation. An Evanston native, Sarah now lives in Lincoln Square with her husband and two toddlers.
