Do you have questions about your mortgage? Are you concerned about affording your mortgage? Join Interfaith Housing Center & the Evanston/North Shore NAACP as we discuss information on how to prevent foreclosure. This event is Co-Sponsored by the Evanston/North Shore NAACP and The Interfaith Housing Center of the Northern Suburbs.

Skyrocketing home foreclosures has emerged as one of the top housing issues in the nation. According to the Woodstock Institute, northern Cook County experienced the largest growth in properties with foreclosure filings.

The City of Evanston has partnered with Interfaith Housing for a second year through a grant from the city's Affordable Housing Fund so they can counsel, educate and assist Evanston homeowners facing foreclosure. The Interfaith Housing Center of the Northern Suburbs is a membership-based, nonprofit organization founded in 1972, serving the northern Chicago suburbs, with a central office located in Winnetka, a few miles north of Chicago near Lake Michigan.
