Suzuki Early Childhood Music

This exciting weekly interactive class for parent and child uses music in fun and innovative ways to help children develop a wide variety of skills.  Class activities are designed to develop vocabulary, listening, and counting, as well as sequencing and motor skills.  Based on the teaching method developed by the renowned educator and violinist, Dr. Shinichi Suzuki, the Suzuki approach applies the basic principles of language acquisition to the process of learning music.  Children will develop memory and social skills, and melodic and rhythmic awareness through the use of instruments and a growing repertoire of nursery rhymes, songs, and lullabies.  Class is open to children ages 0-3, accompanied by an adult.
