Washington School's 5th Annual Family Fun Run/Walk

Washington School families will gather for the 5th Annual Family Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, October 2nd from 10-12 pm. This spirited fall event is held annually to promote school spirit, family fun, fitness and wellness.

Participants are encouraged to run/walk 1mile and will be rewarded with healthy snacks such as fresh fruit, bagels and water. New to the event this year, as part of Washington School's overall Wellness Initiative, there will be a Washington Spirit Bicycle Decorating station to encourage children and families to walk/roll to school and to Bike the Ridge the following Sunday, October 3rd, and a Halloween Costume Swap to encourage families to reuse/recycle their Halloween costumes. This is a great opportunity to donate your gently-used costumes in exchange for another gently-used costume or to purchase a costume at a low cost. Bring your costumes to the event or drop them off prior to the event in a box located in the Washington School main lobby.
