Evanston/Skokie D65 Considers 4 Candidates for Superintendent

Four candidates remain for the top spot in Evanston/Skokie School District 65.

What started out as 60 candidates have been whittled down to four vying to be the next Evanston/Skokie School District 65 superintendent, Evanston Now reports. 

According to the article, the four candidates left include:
  • Julie Glazer-assistant superintendent for K-12 in a New Jersey public school system. 
  • Paul Goren-senior vice president of a Chicago organization that works to enhance development of academic, social and emotional competence for students.
  • Quintin Shepherd-superintendent of Skokie/Morton Grove School District 69.
  • Marty K. Smith-assistant superintendent of 22 schools outside of Washington D.C.

Have any of these people had an SIGNIFICANT teaching experience? If not, they should not be considered for the position because without it, they don't know kids.
