Kellogg’s 400,000-Square-Foot Building on Next Week’s Agenda

The city’s Site Plan and Appearance Review Committee will consider Northwestern’s proposal for a new 400,000-square-foot building for its Kellogg School of Management at the board’s Wednesday meeting.

Northwestern is hoping to begin construction this year and have the building completed in 2016. It would house the full-time MBA program as well as the economics department, according to the school’s website. It’s location at 2211 Campus Drive “will provide the new building with spectacular views of the campus, lake, and pond,” the website says.

The school plans to have the building achieved a minimum silver LEED rating.
