Northwestern Students Protest Alleged Racial Mistreatment of University Employee

Students saying the tipping point was the mistreatment of a university employee who alleges he found a stuffed black bear hanging from a noose at his desk, the 'Sun-Times' reports.

Northwestern University students marched Thursday to protest acts of racial mistreatment on campus, saying the tipping point was the mistreatment of Michael Collins, a university employee, who alleges he found a stuffed black bear hanging from a noose at his desk, Evanston Review reported.

Several hundred students turned out at the protest and charged that there have been seven major racial events on campus among them, a party held by white students with racist costumes and two Asian-American women who were harassed by racial slurs, Evanston Review.

Let's not forget a few years back when a female student made outlandish racial claims against other students and the University. She confessed later to the hoax. Hmmmmmm.....

KUDO's to the Northwestern students! We need more togetherness in this country. We need to look out for each other and erase the nasty prejudice that is so 18th, 19th and 20th century!

It must have been a Green Bay Packers fan who did this nasty deed. After all, the black bear is the mascot of our beloved football team which encompasses players both black and white.
