Professor Accused of Harassment Not Teaching Next Quarter

Peter Ludlow is accused of sexually harassing a student two years ago.

The Northwestern University philosophy professor accused of kissing and fondling an underage student while they were drinking together two years ago will not be teaching next quarter, though he remains on staff, according to an NBC5 report.

Peter Ludlow is being sued by the student, as is Northwestern for what she says is a failure to sufficiently act on her complaint.

Students planned to protest one of Ludlow’s classes earlier this month before he canceled it that morning. The school then announced that he would not teach the final two classes of the quarter either. It now says Ludlow will not teach his scheduled class in the spring, though he is not on a leave of absence, NBC5 reports.
