West Evanston Neighbors Ask for Local School
The issue of a 5th ward school was discussed recently in Evanston.
Residents of Evanston's 5th Ward again discussed the issue of bringing a school to their community, with many showing support for the idea.
The issue was discussed at the 5th Ward meeting, where they voiced their thoughts to District 65’s New School Referendum Committee.
“A community without a school has only one way to go, and that is down,” said 85-year-old Elsie Liddell in the Pioneer Press.
