The board of education is seeking public comment on a slate of goals for the district to achieve between 2012 and 2015.
Those goals include improving test scores and college readiness across races and income levels, increasing enrollment in extracurricular activities and "maximizing" the school's reputation, according to a draft posted on the district website. Members of the school board and the administration created the goals with the help of a public survey and a public workshop last March.
Anyone is welcome to attend the next board meeting, Monday, Sept. 10, to share their feedback during the public comment portion of the meeting. The board meets at 7:30 p.m. in Room N-112, on the first floor of Evanston Township High School, 1600 Dodge Ave.
