18 Evanston Eateries Participating in Restaurant Month

Evanston foodies can take advantage of dining specials at 18 local restaurants throughout North Shore Restaurant Month this February.

This is the fifth year Chicago's North Shore Convention and Visitor's Bureau has hosted Restaurant Month, designed to replicate the restaurant week that began Jan. 24 in Chicago, according to a press release. Rather than lasting one week, however, Restaurant Month runs from Feb. 1 to 28.“The culinary talent on Chicago’s North Shore is unsurpassed,” visitors bureau executive director Gina Speckman said in the release. “Not only do we have gifted and award-winning chefs, but the diversity of the cuisine that is offered in our region rivals any major city in the world."
Beyond Evanston, restaurants in Skokie, Glenview, Northbrook and Winnetka will also be participating in Restaurant Month.
Dining deals range from a percentage off the entire bill, prix fixe dinners, 2 for 1 specials and free appetizers or desserts with purchase of an entree, according to the release.
