Few Spirits Rye Named 'Craft Whiskey of the Year"

'Whisky Advocate' magazine noted the rye whiskey's flavors of tarragon, dry mint and oak.

Evanston's Few Spirits distillery recently got some recognition for its Rye Whiskey.

The drink was named "Craft Whiskey of the Year" by Whisky Advocate magazine.

"Although it's young, the whiskey is well-made and clean in character, not funky and flawed, which counts for a lot these days," wrote Whisky Advocate. "It’s backed up on the palate, where you’ll get more rye, some tarragon and dry mint spice, and then some oak in the warming finish."

Few Spirits Rye retails for $60.
