Crawford Breaks ETHS Strikeout Record

Jordan Crawford, a senior, had thrown 71 strikeouts before playoff games began this week. He broke the record held by Zach Morton, an '08 ETHS grad.

 senior Jordan Crawford broke the school record for most strikeouts thrown this week, with a season that included a no-hitter against Maine West.

Heading into a weekend of playoff games, Crawford had thrown 71 strikeouts as of Thursday. His record trumps that of Zach Morton, a 2008 ETHS grad who is now a senior on Northwestern's baseball team. Morton, who threw 66 strikeouts, was named the CSL North Suburban League player of the year as a senior.
