Healthy Kids Day

On Saturday, April 21, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.,
the McGaw YMCA is celebrating Healthy Kids Day® with a free community event for kids and families in Evanston. The event will take place at the McGaw YMCA’s Sebring-Lewis Center Gymnasium at 1000 Grove Street in Evanston, and everyone is invited.

A leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through supporting youth development, encouraging a healthy lifestyle, and fostering a sense of social responsibility, the YMCA holds Healthy Kids Day to teach healthy habits and inspire a lifetime love of physical activity through active play.

Healthy Kids Day® aims to kick start physical activity and learning for kids throughout the summer – a critical out-of-school time for kids. This year’s activities will feature an Adrenaline Maze Challenge; Bounce Houses; games & relay races; the Imagination Station; Family Zumba®; and crafts, healthy snacks, and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy.
