Teen Music at the Fair and Beach Party

As part of Mayor Tisdahl's Safe Summer Initiative, Evanston teens and young adults are invited to gather for a special band performance at the Custer Street Fair, followed by a free beach party. The participant age range is 13 to 25 years of age.

Two hot area bands will play from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 18 at Custer’s Last Stand Festival of the Arts. They will be located on the stage located at Chicago Ave. at Kedzie St. Admission to the Fair is free.

At 6pm, participants can hop a nearby bus for a trip to Clark St. Beach (the exact location of the bus will be an announced from the stage). A Beach Party will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Clark Street Beach, Sheridan Road at Clark St., with free beach admission, free food, a DJ and prizes/give-aways. At 8:00 p.m., a free shuttle bus will be provided to take participants to various Evanston drop-off spots.
