Evanston Boys Basketball Beats New Trier in 55-52 Overtime Victory

The Evanston Township High School Wildkits boys basketball team beat the New Trier Trevians in a 55-52 overtime victory Friday, the Chicago Tribune reported.
The down-to-the-wire game was only the latest in a longheld, often contentious rivalry.
The two varsity basketball squads have met a total of 15 times since the beginning of the 2005-2006 season. Evanston is 8-7 in those games, though they had lost the previous four contests before winning Friday.
