Evanston Boys State Track Meet Results
The Evanston Township High School boys track team took 43 out of 74 teams at the state track meet this weekend in Charleston, Illinois. Wildkits participated in two relays and the 800-meter run.
Evanston relay teams in the 4x100 and 4x400 gave a strong showing at the state track meet in Charleston this weekend.
A team composed of junior Ramon Hayes, senior Daren Gardner, senior Demonte Hill and sophomore Reggie Murphy finished sixth in the 4x100 meter relay, with a time of 43:05. Along with senior Pat Klamm and sophomore Carl Klamm, Hayes and Hill finished seventh in the 4x100 meter relay, with a time of 3:24.78.
Sophomore Carl Klamm also raced the 800 in a time of 1:58.68, good for 11th place. The Wildkits came in 43rd out of 74 teams as a whole, with the track team from Roselle taking first place.
